Winter is near and almost here.. Winter to me means cozy blankets sipping a cup of warm soup and watching old classic movies. Its lazy wintery evening and you really dont feel like cooking dinner but you crave for something warm , hearty and tasty light meal.. Heres what you do....                         Make yourself a large bowl of CHOWDER.. Whats a chowder????  Well, a simple dish of chowder, in the past considered to be "poor man's food," has a history that is centuries old. Vegetables or fish stewed in a cauldron thus became known as chowder in English-speaking nations, a corruption of the name of the pot or kettle in which they were cooked.                       Here is my feeble attempt to make sweet corn chowder, thick soup of creamy rich sweet corn served in a sour dough brea...

PASTA.... We all love pasta, and most importantly Neil loves pasta. He smiles and jumps all around teh house saying " neil pasta khanash... chaan chaan aahe aai". It is the best feeling in th world to see Neil happy about eating food. Nowadays he has become very choosy about food. he needs variety and different tastes and textures. The best part about Neil is that he appreciates food if he likes it and also makes a sad face about the food he doesn't. but when my eyes grow big, he unhappily eats his food... My cute little bunny...                            And he loved this pasta dish which had his favorite Chicken in it. Nowadays I cook same meal for the entire family. So I made chicken version for me n Neil and veggie version with sweet...

My mamma loves to cook recipes which she sees in television. If she likes some recipe, she is very prompt to make it immediately for dinner. She has had her quota of failures and successes. Me and my dad used to still do tease her a lot, if her recipe didnt turn out great. Poor mamma.. She's one adorable cute lady who is always smiling. She never scolded me or was angry at me EXCEPT during studies.. She was very strict when it came to education. I was a tomboy as a kid, always wanted to play, climb trees and bruise my knees. I wasn't interested in studies   but then who is. ... Mamma made sure I studied regularly and I used to read novels inside my books....Did I mention, I am completely crazy about books. I stay up late at nights till 3am just go to sleep without knowing the end of the story and if I am forced to sleep leaving my book incomplete, I...
